Thanks for visiting the quit guru. This site is all about no b.s. coaching for people who want to take their freedom back from their addictions. I call it like I see it and I don’t pull any punches. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re in the right place.
The only thing I ask in return for the help I’ll be giving you is that you help other people the same way: one of the insights I’ve had along the way is that the universe helps those who help others. In other words, the best way to take your own freedom back from your addiction, and keep it, is to help other people take their freedom back and keep it.
I was a smoker for over 30 years, and I quit more times than I can count. I finally quit smoking for good on November 19th of 2001, and I’ve never looked back.
Along the way, I’ve helped hundreds of other people get their freedom back, too, and watched hundreds (if not thousands) more take their freedom back for a minute, or a day, or a month, and then give it back up.
And I’ve paid attention: I’ve seen what works and I’ve seen what doesn’t work. I’ve also seen what works for everybody, and what only works for some people. on this blog, I’m going to talk about all of that; i think it’s important to not only know what works, but what doesn’t, so you don’t waste time and energy that could be put to better uses.
Okay, that said, I’m going to continue setting up shop here and I’ll be back at the keyboard tomorrow; I just didn’t want to let January 1st go by without starting this thing.
See you then.
